Palimpsest: Literary Edinburgh invite you to meet ‘Sir Walter Scott’ and ‘Mrs Margaret Oliphant’, prolific writers who featured Edinburgh in their works and so helped to create its literary cityscape. You will find them both in Edinburgh University’s Playfair Library on Doors Open Day. Discover more about their fascinating lives and how their influence lives on today!
