In partnership with the National Library of Scotland and Edinburgh World Heritage, we are leading school groups on a walk down the Royal Mile in the company of Mrs Grant to look out how you would go food shopping in Georgian Edinburgh.
The walk begins at the National Library of Scotland where the pupils will first have investigated the exhibition called “Lifting the Lid” which puts the history of Scottish food at the centre of this project as part of 2015 and the year of food.
So look out for Mrs Grant on the Royal Mile through September and October!
The workshops are free.
