On the 6th and 7th May 1941, Greenock endured 2 nights of heavy bombardment resulting in the devastation of the town.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Greenock blitz and the McLean Museum are marking this event by running a day of workshops for primary schools in the area featuring the ARP Wardens who worked so tirelessly through the blitz to help the public.
