Jackie Lee has been invited to speak at the Scottish Woodland History Conference held at the SNH HQ at Battleby, Perth. Trees are not immediately associated with Artemis Scotland! However, several years ago Jackie and Chris wrote a learning resource on the influence of Enlightenment thinking on tree planting for the Scottish Forestry commission. On Friday Jackie will speak about one aspect of their findings, the merchant landowners and their transformation of their estates.
