It was a great honour for Jackie and Chris Lee to be invited back to their university, Strathclyde, as VIP guests for the graduation ceremony that included history on 26th June this year. The ceremony was held in the Barony Hall.

And then it was lunch afterwards with the Vice-Principal Prof. Scott MacGregor, seated on Jackie’s left and Dr Patricia Barton, of the History Department, seated on her right. Prof. Richard Finlay of the History Department was on Chris’s left.

It was an amazing day. Jackie and Chris were made to feel that they had indeed made a considerable contribution in how they had used their history degrees in the wider world.

It was a wonderful day. And to have their achievements recognised in such a fabulous way was very special.
