As it is the 500th anniversary of the birth of Mary of Guise, mother of Mary, Queen of Scots Historic Scotland has organised a “royal” progress around sites associated with the queen. Having spent July in Linlithgow Palace, her grace is now moving to St Andrews for a bit of sea air.
It was at St Andrews Cathedral where her marriage to James V was blessed and which she visited on many occasions.
Come and meet the Queen and hear about her associations with St Andrews and its historic sites.
